Specifications:

• 3X the holding power of metal staples, EcoDuty stake ably anchors landscape fabrics, weed barriers, turf, sod, erosion blankets and more with ease. Safer than metal staples, these stakes will stay in the ground and not be exposed to lawn mowers.
• Once inserted into the land, breakdown takes at least 24-36 months to begin and the stakes will biodegrade subsequently. Full biodegradation rates depend on the number of microbes present in the environment.
• Material = Polypropylene based resin from 100% recycled materials with an additive to cause breakdown and degradation. (designed to breakdown in accordance with ASTM D6954
• OXO-Degradation By-Product= Once the stake breaks down the natural by-product becomes carbon-dioxide, water and humus (bio-mass).
• OXO-Degradation Period= Will maintain holding power in the ground for 24 months after which it will biodegrade and disappear completely 
• Storage = 36 months  (These stakes are designed to be Biodegradable. They can be stored for later use after purchase, but please use/install them within this time frame, after 36 months loss of structure will occur due to exposure to oxygen molecules which reduce their durability over time.)
