Empire Vent Base is for raising a vent and/or vent cap to the desired height for your job. Being galvanized, it is coated with a protective layer of zinc. We currently offer the following sizes: 6", 8", 10", 12", and 16". The zinc acts as a barrier preventing oxygen and water from reaching the steel, providing advanced corrosion protection. Data shows that galvanizing can provide between 34 to 170 years of protection for steel.
