GAF EverGuard TPO Seam Cleaner 1 Gal

Used to clean exposed or contaminated seams prior to heat welding, GAF EverGuard TPO Seam Cleaner (1 Gal) removes any residual soap and strips away dirt and weather or human foot traffic grime. The heat welding then done on the cleaned surfaces bonds completely and without later peeling away to expose what lies beneath it to water or wind damage.

GAF EverGuard TPO Seam Cleaner 1 Gal

Follow the guidance below for cleaning TPO
Light Contamination — A membrane that has been exposed overnight for up to a few days to airborne debris, foot traffic, or dew or light precipitation can usually be cleaned with a white cloth moistened with EverGuard TPO Cleaner.
Be sure to wait for the solvent to flash off prior to welding.
Dirt-Based Contamination — A membrane that is dirt-encrusted will require the use of a low-residue cleaner and a mildly abrasive scrubbing pad to remove the dirt. This must be followed by cleaning with a white cloth moistened with EverGuard TPO.
Exposure-Based Contamination — A membrane that is weathered or oxidized will require the use of EverGuard TPO Cleaner and a mildly abrasive scrubbing pad to remove the weathered/oxidized top surface layer. This must be followed by cleaning with a white cloth moistened with EverGuard TPO Cleaner.
Unexposed membrane left in inventory for a year or more may need to be cleaned as instructed above.
