Tamlyn's RVC516-CA XtremeTrim 5/16" Vertical Reveal - 1/2" Reveal 2pc - 10' Clear Anodized EA is designed to create a uniform, aesthetically consistent vertical 1/2" reveal between panel siding. The two-piece design permits the application of the base part first and then the installation of the cover cap at a later time. In tight-fit situations, this may be more convenient than using the standard vertical reveal. However, due to the natural expansion and contraction of aluminum, all two-piece caps must be secured by either adhesive, screw, or pop rivet.
