A gutter wedge is a T-shaped wedge that helps gutters hang straight and level when the fascia boards or other materials are uneven. Gutter wedges are used when the fascia is not perpendicular to the ground, such as when it's angled or slanted. They build out the fascia so that the gutter can be installed level, preventing sagging and increasing the stability of the gutter system. Gutter wedges should be installed on the same spacing as the hidden hangers, which are usually recommended every 24–32 in.
