Geared toward the professional, the Snapper Shear SS404 effortlessly powers through fiber-cement siding for fast clean cuts with minimal airborne dust. Designed specifically for 5/16 inch fiber cement siding cutting, the solid steel blades are reversible and fully replaceable. Expected life before replacement is 20,000 linear feet, roughly 15 average houses when used appropriately. The Snapper Shear design actually shears the cement siding rather than cutting it, resulting in an OSHA compatible jobsite, less mess, minimal airborne dust, and faster clean-up. This is a corded, 110 volt tool and is a fast, efficient way to install fiber cement siding.
