Gaco Flex Wash Concentrated Cleaner 1 Gallon

Gaco Wash is a concentrated cleaning solution for roof membranes and existing waterproof systems. It is specially formulated to remove tough dirt, pollen, mildew, and fungus from roof membranes and existing waterproof systems.

Gaco Wash Concentrated Cleaner is ideal for use as a cleaning solution for aged asphalt, aged EPDM and TPO/CPA, built-up, cap sheet, composite, concrete, fiberglass, metal, modified bitumen, torch down, most existing coatings, and coated polyurethane foam.

FOR GENERAL CLEANING: Combine 1-part GacoWash with 9 parts clean water and ensure both components are mix thoroughly prior to application to substrate. Approximate coverage of the combined, diluted solution is 400 ft² / gal (8.2 m² / L) of the overall application area. 

FOR MAXIMUM COVERAGE: Combine 1-part GacoWash with 9 parts clean water and ensure both components are mix thoroughly prior to application to substrate. Maximum coverage of the combined, diluted solution is up to 4,000 ft² / gal (82 m² / L) ) of the overall application area.

NOTE: Amount of cleaner required is job-specific and can be adjusted as necessary. Spot-treating or additional washing courses may be required to completely ready the substrate for GacoFlex coatings and systems.

Surface preparation: Remove heavy deposits of dirt, leaves and other debris from the roof using a stiff broom or a power broom. Inspect the entire roof surface, flashings and
terminations for any open seams, tears, cuts, loose fasteners, deteriorated sealants, etc. and repair with like materials to prevent water infiltration during the cleaning process.
